We have been representing S&P Global (formerly known as IHS Markit) in this part of the world for more than 30 years, and the American Welding Society for over 10 years. Our presence in Malaysia and Brunei is supported by the government, commercial companies and academia. As exclusive representatives, we are responsible for sales support, training, presentations and consulting services for all customers of our strategic partners and services.
Since 1986, UT has supported the sale of technical standards and codes for S&P Global (previously known as IHS Markit) and provided data solutions for various industries in Malaysia – Aerospace, Defense, Construction, Academia, Utilities, Manufacturing and Engineering Services. UT has played a pivotal role in industrial development and growth in Malaysia by providing technical data solutions for various key projects including the construction of the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Telecommunications Tower and Kuala Lumpur International Airport. In addition, UT has a recognized working partnership with the Department of Standards Malaysia to continuously support the sales of technical standards to companies in Malaysia. Examples of technical standards that we provide include BSI, ASTM, API, ASME and ISO.

Mr. Edmonds is the President and Managing Director of United Technology (M) Sdn Bhd. He has over 30 years of experience in sales, business strategy, corporate affairs and private investments. Mr. Edmonds’ industry experiences include Aerospace and Defense, Office Equipment, Chemicals and Information Technology. Mr. Edmonds is also an avid member and past president of the Rotary Club and plays a key role in raising funds for various charitable organizations.
Barry Edmonds joined United Technology in 2005 and oversees the business development, marketing and investment strategies of United Technology. As a former Marketing Analyst and Management Consultant, Barry has over 18 years experience in corporate strategy, business process improvement and business development.
Ms. Geraldine is a pioneer who has been with United Technology for 32 years, overseeing all administrative matters for the company. Ms. Geraldine has vast experience in administering sales, marketing, business operations, and she is a well-known figure among United Technology’s esteemed clients.
Mr. Edward Kennedy has been with United Technology for the past 20 years, specializing in the field of Networking, Systems Integration and MIS. Mr. Edward has managed many projects successfully which contributed to United Technology’s success in the industry.
Mikhail has been with United Technology for 7 years and has contributed to the organization’s growth with his skills in Sales and Marketing.
